My Pondovac 5 will run but the discharge pump doesn't kick on. I replaced the discharge pump and it still isn't working. What's the problem?
Per Oase: It could be your top motor head. You can also check your quick-connect discharge hoses for damage. If these hoses are stretched, these are damaged and can be replaced.

Do you have the float switch for the Pondovac 5?
Per Oase: The float switch is sealed inside the top motor of your unit and opening this top motor will void your warranty. So, unfortunately, this item is not available and you will have to replace the top motor.
You can troubleshoot a few things first: If your top motor runs but the discharge pump does not run, it "could" be the top motor.
Another item to check is to check your quick-connect hoses for wear. If these hoses were stretched, this can cause issues and replacing these hoses is an option.
