We bought a 1 hp diy lake fountain. Made with a 5 gallon Lowe’s bucket. The hole for the spray pattern is 2 3/4” across. It sunk this past winter (cheap floating foam on top) we leave it in in the winter and don’t want it to sink again. It still works we tested it Will your float work with this system? It will be screwed to the bucket with non corroding screws. My husband retired as a die maker so can make it so it fits if it will work and keep the fountain afloat. Thank you
Hello Sally - The inside diameter of the 2400/3400/4400 Surface Aerator Float is 8.3” (+/- 0.025”). This part number is 242001. This is suitable for Kasco's 1 HP pump and while I can't guarantee that it will work with your application, it sounds very promising that your husband could make it work. Respectfully, Carol
